Popular peptides, explained

Organized by what they help with. Tap any one to read a short, clear explanation. The teal hearts mark the ones in my own routine.

What are peptides

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up every protein in your body. Your body already makes thousands of them naturally, and they guide nearly every biological process. Insulin is a familiar example. The ones used for health and performance are either exact copies of what your body makes or synthetic versions designed to trigger the same pathways.

A good place to start

Before peptides, consider getting blood work done so you know your real baseline. It is also worth talking with your doctor about whether Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) fits your needs. I tried HRT first, and it was not for me, but many women feel wonderful on it. Everyone is different, so start with your own numbers.

If at-home testing is easier for you, Rhythm offers one of the simplest blood tests you can do from home.
